FLEXIBLE MEMBERSHIP

Flexible (Flexi) membership is perfect for golfers who have limited leisure time due to family or work commitments but would like to be a member of one of Boltons oldest golf clubs - a club that maintains the traditions and standards of golf.

Flexi membership is an affordable and flexible membership that uses a simple and easy credit system that fits in with your individual lifestyle needs.

There is no joining fee.

Flexi members pay £473 per year (plus affiliation fees to England and Lancashire Golf Unions) and membership commences on the day of completion of the administration and the payment of the fee.

Flexi members will receive a club card with 200 credits. Credits are non-transferable but unused credits can be carried forward to the following year as long as the Flexi membership has been renewed and paid for.

Credits can be used to pay a guest’s green fee at the same rate as the Flexi member and to pay for the hire of buggies but cannot be used to pay for the hire of trolleys.

All rounds or part rounds must be booked on our online booking system (BRS) and paid in advance of playing by swiping the club card at the pros shop or, if closed, in the bar. Cards can be topped up with the Professional or the Secretary.

Flexi members will have full use of the clubs' facilities and can put money on their card to purchase food and drinks (separate to the golf credits) and enjoy a discount when purchasing food (5%) and drink (10%) with the presentation of their card and having credit remaining on that card.

Flexi Green fees :- 

Winter Season 

November 1 - March 31 up to 13 holes - 10 credits. Over 13 holes - 15 credits

Summer season 

April 1 - October 31 up to 13 holes - 15 credits. Over 13 holes - 20 credits

Flexi members may play on any day of the week subject to the availability of the course and any restrictions on the BRS booking system eg. society days, charity days, team matches, special days. In the summer Flexi members cannot play on Saturdays or Tuesdays before 2pm or until after the last competitors have teed off and cannot play in the Saturday or Tuesday competitions or Sunday Alternative Day competitions. They can play in the Sunday and Wednesday stableford competitions and the mid-week roll-ups.

Flexi members:-

 - cannot represent the club in any team or individual competition and cannot serve on Council but can be co-opted onto committees.

- are not eligible for Family Membership, free guest vouchers, the “with member” reduced green fee for their guests, reciprocal golf fees at other clubs, or free use of the clubhouse for private parties or meeting rooms and do not receive the incentive fee for introducing a new member.

  Failure to pre-pay or pay at all by swiping the Flexi Membership card with the Pro or at the bar may lead to the withdrawal of membership rights.

Flexi members can upgrade to a full membership at any time upon application to the membership committee.
